Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will once again crank up its BorgataSpring Poker Open (BSPO) on Apr. 2. The New Jersey casino will run 22 events through Apr. 19, with buy-ins ranging from $150 to $2,700 and a combined amount of guaranteed prizepool money exceeding $3.5 million.
Individual events feature guarantees that can reach as high as $1 million. BSPO tournaments can be almost any type of event, such as bounty tournaments, H.O.S.E. events, Pot-limit Omaha, and plenty of No-limit hold’em.
How to qualify for the Borgata Spring Poker Open
BorgataPoker.com will be the place to qualify for some live tournament action at a bargain price. Players can head to the virtual tables on a computer or on a mobile device.
Online satellites will run from March 17 through April 15. The BSPO kicks off with a $600 buy-in event with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and six starting flights.

The site will also run qualifiers for the $1 million guaranteed Spring Poker Open Championship, which features a $2,700 buy-in. BorgataPoker.com features daily online satellites for as low as $5 and offers the chance at a huge payday for a tiny online buy-in.
These qualifiers will run daily at 2:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 10:30 p.m. One in ten players will win a $45 online satellite entry ticket.

All signs point to a huge BSPO
This year’s edition of the BSPO figures to be a huge deal. I spoke with BorgataPoker.com sponsored pro and ambassador Katie Stone Cappuccio, and she said that 2019 has already begun with a bang.
“We had a record-breaking 47 players win their seats via online satellites on BorgataPoker.com during January’s Winter Poker Open opening event,” Cappucio said.
