The new NX-OS code was a challenge to grasp but now I have an understanding it’s become a doddle to navigate.

A small word of advice though prior to purchasing a Nexus unit, Cisco have introduced their VDC feature into the Nexus 7009. Cisco’s VDC feature helps enable the virtualization of a single physical device in one or more logical devices, a way of logically segregating separate parts of your network. We had chosen to split our VDCs – Management – Datacentre – User Access – Test. In logically segregating the individual area you are able to create better fault isolation.
