Infinity Blade III was an action role-playing video game for iOS, developed by Chair Entertainment and Epic Games. It was the third game in the Infinity Blade series. It was released on the App Store on September 18, 2013. The main characters of the game are Siris and Isa, and it is the final game of the Infinity Blade trilogy.
The game was removed from the App Store on December 10, 2018, alongside Infinity Blade and Infinity Blade II due to difficulties in updating the game for newer hardware. That is will no longer re-release in the game.[1]
Gameplay[edit]
Combat in the game is similar to the first two installments. The player controls their character's actions by swiping and tapping the screen. Players can avoid attacks by dodging, blocking with shields or heavy weapons, or parrying the attack by swiping in the opposite direction of the attack. All three options can temporarily stun the enemy after a string of successful defenses, allowing the player to attack. A player can also use a super attack to trigger a quick-time event based on the equipped weapon class that is guaranteed to stun the enemy. The last way for the player to do damage is through magic spells, which are performed by drawing certain symbols on the screen.
The player can choose between two characters, Isa, a woman who focuses on magic and a bracer for defense and Siris, a man who focuses on physical fighting and uses a shield. Both characters have access to three different classes of weapons (light, heavy, dual), helmets, armor, rings, and bracer/shields. Light weapons, usually swords, allow the player character to use the equipped shield/bracer to block and are balanced between defence, speed, and attack. Heavy weapons such as spears and axes, focus on blocking as the primary defensive option and a slow but powerful attack. Dual weapons such as dual swords or daggers focus on dodging as the primary defensive option, and have a fast but weak attack. Helmets and armor affect the player's stats, dodging ability, and health. Rings decide the type and strength of the player's magic spells. Shields decide both the amount of block points and elemental resistances. The player's equipment can have gems slotted into them which confer boosts such as stat increases, in-battle effects, and elemental damage and resistance. The player earns points by leveling up and mastering their equipment to boost the player's stats, which in turn give perks at certain milestones.
The overworld has changed from the previous two titles. The player begins in a hub world, the Hideout, where one can find the Training Golem, Potions Master, Blacksmith, Gem Cutter, and Merchant, the last three of which need to be unlocked through gameplay. For adventuring, instead of a single, large world with multiple paths like in the previous installments, the player travels to different locations from a world map. Each location is a distinct map that is unlocked through gameplay but each usually only has a single, linear path and some associated quests.
Plot[edit]
In the introduction, the Worker of Secrets narrates about his immortal creations, the Deathless, and the wrath they bestowed on humanity. He forges the 'Infinity Blade', the only weapon that can permanently kill Deathless. He is betrayed by a Deathless, the ruthless Ausar the Vile, who takes the Infinity Blade for himself, and locks The Worker away in his Vault of Tears. The God King Raidriar uses the Blade to enslave humanity until he is defeated by Siris -- who is a reincarnation of Ausar the Vile, with no memory of his previous life. Siris, having used the Blade to kill Raidriar, unknowingly activates the Blade's potential to permanently kill the Deathless. Siris later frees The Worker, who then traps him and Raidriar in the Vault of Tears and continues his plan to destroy the world in order to build a new one.
Having escaped the Vault in Infinity Blade: Redemption, Raidriar, armed with the Infinity Blade, confronts The Worker, and realizes that he has been creating more Infinity Blades to keep the Deathless busy while he enacts his plan. After he defeats Raidriar in battle, The Worker clarifies his plan to 'cleanse' the planet — to destroy all life on the planet and start anew — and offers Raidriar a chance to join him. Raidriar refuses and, knowing Siris is the only one who can defeat The Worker, sacrifices himself by teleporting The Worker's datapad away. Infuriated, The Worker impales Raidriar with an Infinity Blade, permanently killing him. Meanwhile, Siris' companion Isa is revived as a Deathless following an attack by The Worker.
Siris travels to Raidriar's castle to retrieve the datapad, but he realizes that he has been replaced by a soulless Raidriar, who is killed by Siris. After retrieving the datapad and the soulless Raidriar's weapon, the Infinity Cleaver, he returns to Isa, where the two theorize that The Worker has been forging more Infinity Blades. Isa ventures to the desert, where she uncovers a vault which was used to store all the Infinity Blades, and gains information from Terrovax, the High Lord of House Burke, about the other weapons. Isa rescues Siris' childhood friend, the blacksmith Jensen, from a heavily disfigured Thane, while Siris defeats Therin, 'the Killer of Dreams', and retrieves the Infinity Spear. Isa is defeated in a battle with Lelindre, 'the Mistress of the End', but she is spared by her and is given the Infinity Daggers. Meanwhile, Siris returns to the Vault of Tears to retrieve the Redeemer, the device that was used to erase his memories as Ausar, and asks Jensen to reprogram it for another purpose.
Siris and Isa head out to The Worker's lair and fight their way through, including the dragon Ba'el. Isa battles and defeats the soulless Raidriar, while Siris faces The Worker to stop him from boarding his ship and wiping out all life in the world. After an intense battle, The Worker parries away Siris' weapon, and holds him by the neck, telling him that he will 'unmake the world as he please, just like he will unmake him.' However, Siris twists around and sends the Infinity Blade into The Worker's chest. The Worker mocks him, as the weapon will not kill him permanently, but Siris inserts the Redeemer inside the blade, erasing The Worker's memory. As the Ark self-destructs, Isa saves Siris by teleporting him back to the Hideout, and the world is saved.
In the post-credits scene, Siris and Isa encounter a child that is building a sand castle that resembles the Ark. This child is presumed to be The Worker, reborn as a child, with his memories erased.

Justin Davis of IGN gave the game a rating of a 9.1 'Amazing', calling it a fitting end to the franchise. Davis stated that although not all of its ideas work, it is genuinely larger and more epic in score than its predecessors, lauding its 'incredible' voice acting, 'gorgeous' visuals, and 'intense, rewarding combat'.[3]

See all our Infinity Blade guides in one handy place.
***See our Ausar Rising guide here.
***
Here you’ll be able to find the locations for the treasure maps in Infinity Blade 3. It’s a work in progress, so bear with me. I’ll also add other hints and tips that seem useful. Feel free to help out in the comments section.
***Note about Ausar Rising update 1.2: I see that one of my maps says “FOUND” on it, while the rest don’t. This may mean that you can reuse the treasure maps and get the treasures more than once. Try it out and let us know if you have any luck!***
1. The Map of Life
Looted from a Medium Chest in Act 1.
Find with Siris.
The map is depicting one of the paintings in Act 1, right after you get the map. Tap the pulsating circle to get close to it and you’ll have a perfect view of the painting. All I got was a lousy Steel Hatchet, but early on in the game I guess it’s useful.
2. The Plate Map
Purchase with 100 Battle Chips.
Find with Siris.
The location is in Act 3, the Pit. I found it by tapping randomly on the right side at the entrance to the Pit/arena, right before battling the next enemy (the gem cutter is sitting at a table here). I don’t see anything that looks like the drawing on the map, but that’s where it is. I got the Tangle as the treasure. **Update: Inside the arena itself, all the way to the right (behind Siris) I can see the object that looks like the map drawing. It’s possible I got it through the wall or something. But that looks like the right location.
3. Map of the Forgotten
Purchase with 150 Battle Chips.
Find with Isa.
The location is in Act 3 “The Broken Tower.” Before Isa enters the tower, there are two statues, one on each side of it, who are holding spears. Click the tip of the right spear and you should get the “Khill.”
4. Kuero’s Cache Map
Purchase with 225 Battle Chips.
Find with Isa.
In Act 4, Isa meets the Gem Cutter and recruits him. In that room, before you talk to him, notice the two stands on either side of the doorway. Tap the right one and you’ll get a Phage.
5. The Root Map
Purchase with 350 Battle Chips.
Find with Isa.
Infinity Blade 3 Guide
The location is in Act 3, the Broken Tower, where Isa fights the four-headed mutant. The tree engraving is directly beneath her feet. The treasure is a Paga Ring.
6. Soiled Map
Purchase with 450 Battle Chips.
Find with Isa (possibly also Siris)
The location is in the Seccian Desert. It’s the same place as the Interlude, so you should be able to get it at any point, really. I got it with both Isa and Siris. The treasure for both characters is a Turquoise Band.
7. Ancient Map
Purchase with 600 Battle Chips.
Find with Siris.
The ancient map marks a panel in the 5th Chapter. After you beat the last enemy in the first room of the Worker’s tower, you’ll get access to the chest. While you’re opening the chest (this is important), you’ll be able to see the panel to the left of it on the back wall. It’s really tiny and easy to miss. Tap it. I got a Rare Prize Wheel. You might be able to get the treasure when you first enter the room. Look in that spot. I can’t check myself now that I already got the treasure.
Also, keep in mind that a Rare Prize Wheel costs the same as the map. So you might not want to spend those Battle Chips until you know you can spare them.
8. Map of Ash and Sorrow
From the Dragon.
Damage the dragon until it has only 500 hit points left (no matter what, she will have some HP left and fly away). When you next go to the Hideout, there will be a location on the map to go to Larioth and kill the dragon before it heals. The dragon will be sleeping when you get there. Fight the dragon, kill it and you get the map. Afterwards you have to go to the Vault of Tears (in a new play through if you already passed it), and kill the first 3 enemies. Enter the courtyard area where the statue is (of a guy fighting a dragon). Tap on the statue and you get a +500 Rare Fire gem.
9. The e-book “Infinity Blade: Redemption” shows a map at the end. You don’t actually need the map for this. Just go to the hideout and tap the animal head above you. You’ll get a +100 Attack Stat Potion.
***Note: You can only get the potion, it seems, when the merchant ship is there. It won’t work otherwise. Also, you need to have room in your potion bag or you’ll get that “full” sound and you won’t get the potion. However, if you try enough times, you may just get a bag of gold instead (that’s what happened to me).***
***New Maps added for Blade Masters update!***
10. Hearth Map
Purchase with 500 BC.
Find with Isa, in Drem’s Maw, while standing facing the third Titan, before attacking.
Reward: The Still Blade
Infinity Blade 3 Download
11. The Warrior’s Map
Purchase with 900 BC.
I found it with Siris in the Observatory, but you May also be able to get it with Isa. It’s the winding path/river you see in the beginning in the valley below.
Reward: +250 Rare Attack Gem
12. Tomb of the Vile
Purchase with 1,000 BC.
Find with Isa, in the Plains of Koroth.
Tap on the horse’s mouth.
I got a lousy Rare XP Gem worth $15,000 gold. Not really worth the 1,000 BC.
13. Map of the Looter
Purchase with 1,200 BC.
Find with either Siris or Isa, in the new map, the Crevasse (The Collector).
Reward: Noe Mercy
14. The Obscure Map
Purchase with 1,500 BC.
I was in the Observatory, tapping gold bags, and heard a strange sound. Looked at my maps and it said the Obscure map was found. Then I noticed the Black Fire Map in my inventory, so that must be the loot. I believe it was in the middle of the room.
15. Map of the Sacrifice
Purchase with 2,000 BC.
Find with Siris, in the Dark Citadel. In the Kingdom Come update, you can finally get the loot. It’s in the room where you fight Ausar. Tap on the statue’s head that’s lying on the floor by its feet.
Reward: Solar Trans-JX, a two-handed solar trans weapon for Siris.
16. (Hidden) Black Fire Map
You loot this map from the Obscure map (see above). The location for the treasure is pretty obvious. It’s in the vault in the Seccian Desert. You get a +1000 Rare Darkfire Gem
*Update: New Kingdom Come (1.4) maps added:
Infinity Blade 3 Maps
17. Scorched Map
Purchase with 750 BC.
Find with either Siris or Isa in the Dragoor interlude (Ice and Fire). Make sure you find it before meeting the Dragoor, or you’ll have to wait till you defeat her and return to this area.
Reward: Rare Gold Gem – On Hit, Get 1000 Gold
18. Star Map
Purchase with 2,000 BC.
Find with Siris in the Metius Observatory after getting the Map to Heaven (see below). You need to equip Siris’s Axe of Heaven and Isa’s Blade of Heaven (bought in the store) to find the new Observatory. When you enter the area, tap on the structure in the distance that looks like a telescope. Isa will join you. Once inside, tap on the area that’s shown on the map to get the reward.
Reward: Solar Trans-GX, dual solar trans swords for Isa.
19. (Hidden) The Map to Heaven
In Kingdom Come, you can enter the Pinnacle Monastery with Siris. When you defeat Lelindre (when given a choice between two doors, I chose the right one, but I don’t know if it matters), you’ll get the Map to Heaven.
You need to equip Siris’s Axe of Heaven and Isa’s Blade of Heaven (bought in the store) to find the new Observatory. Do to so, enter the Metius Observatory with Siris or and tap on the structure in he distance that matches what you see on the map. Isa will then join you. Inside, make your way to Varun, the Watcher of Heaven. Defeat him and open the chest under the stairs for your reward.
Reward: The Origin, an armor for Siris that looks like the Worker’s armor.
